How do I get started with MetriVibe?
Getting started is simple:
- Download MetriVibe from the Downloads page or the Mac App Store.
- Install and open the application.
- MetriVibe automatically detects your Claude Code sessions stored in
~/.claude/projects. - Browse your projects, open sessions, and explore timelines.
No account is required for local use. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited session history, cloud sync, and AI-powered reports.
What plans are available?
MetriVibe offers three plans:
- Free: Local experience with the 10 most recent sessions per project, dashboard metrics, timeline view, subagent analysis, and file activity tracking. No account needed.
- Pro ($9/month): Everything in Free plus cloud sync, AI-powered learning/audit/refactoring reports, priority support, and early access to new features.
- Enterprise: Everything in Pro plus team dashboards, organizational analytics, SSO/SAML, audit logs, and dedicated support. Custom pricing.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Web subscriptions: Go to your account settings in the MetriVibe app or web application and select "Cancel Subscription." You can also email [email protected].
- Mac App Store subscriptions: Manage your subscription through System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your Mac, or through the App Store app.
After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Your local app will continue working normally on the Free tier.
My sessions are not showing up. What should I do?
If MetriVibe is not detecting your sessions, check the following:
- Ensure you have Claude Code installed and have used it at least once.
- Verify that session files exist in
~/.claude/projects. - Check that MetriVibe has permission to read files in your home directory.
- Try refreshing the project list within the app.
If the issue persists, contact us at [email protected] with details about your setup.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. On the Free plan, all your data stays entirely on your local machine. Nothing is sent to our servers. For Pro and Enterprise users who enable cloud sync, data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

What are AI Reports and do I need an API key?
AI Reports (available on Pro and Enterprise plans) analyze your coding sessions and generate intelligent prompts that help you learn from your patterns. We generate the prompt for you based on proprietary analysis logic.
No API key is needed. You simply copy the generated prompt and use it with your own Claude subscription (claude.ai or the API). The value is in the intelligent prompt engineering, not API access.
